Hi guys

So I have had my PC for a couple of months now but have recently encountered some very annoying issues regarding my frame rates in certain games. The first example was with Call of Duty Warzone, where I received drops in frames regularly from around 90fps to sometimes 20 with no warning. I have tried everything, putting all of the graphics settings to their lowest yet I would still encounter these drops. The same thing occurred in Forza horizon 3, where again I would receive major drops in fps regularly, making both games unplayable. My specs are as follows - Ryzen 5 3600, MSI Radeon RX 5500xt, 8GB DDR4, MSI B450 Tomahawk Max, EVGA 600BR PSU.

Any more questions regarding the situation please ask.

I am new to computers so any help would be massively appreciated.

so should I buy the exact same stick from where I bought it before, or a new set that already come together?
Depends how good the returns policy is. A second stick of the exact same make and model has a good chance of working but is not guaranteed. If you want to avoid any chance of issues a 2x8gb kit is best. With a Ryzen 3600 a 2x8gb 3000mhz to 3600mhz kit would be best.
That hurts as it can only run in single channel and not dual. I cannot say it’s the whole problem but 1x8gb RAM is not good for Warzone. The problem is RAM is best bought in matched kits and adding another 1x8gb bought separately isn’t guaranteed to work.
