Putting the PC together is quite simple, just don't rush the process to avoid silly mistakes.
No need to ground components, both the HD and the SSD will go inside the machine, read up on which SATA you plug em (3gb/s should be fine), you can tweak this @ the BIOS.

For the sub $100 price range The Antec 300 is quite popular.

What are you looking for in a case? Bling? clean look? size? weight? quality? etc... these can help you narrow down options and then you can choose based on aesthetics.

But he asked again for a case after you had suggested the Midi - so guess Bassman doesn't want the Fractal Design 😀
