this has never happened before. my internet has always been perfect and never really lags but all of a sudden my ping for overwatch and pubg just shoots and spikes when ever. also discord always disconnects now. here is all the information i have.
i used malware bytes and windows defender to find viruses and no viruses were detected, how ever i did use windows baseline and these results came back https://imgur.com/a/6hMYy im not sure what exactly that means tho.
im using sky broadband, i used a speed tester and this is the result 9ms, 26mbps download, and 2.49mbps upload.
my specs are: radeon rx 470 4gb, intel i5 6500, 8gb, b150m pro4s mobo, 450 watts gold certified power, and a pair of BT internet plug things for my internet which look like this https://imgur.com/a/Zvh9H.
i have not called my isps up yet but will do that tomorrow, im not sure if other devices in my household are having the same issue but my phone defo does not have internet problems when im using it at home.
as for changes in terms of software, i updated a bunch of GPU updates by raedon, no manual windows updates have happened recently, and my drivers im not sure about i will check that all tomoz also.
does anyone know why this is happening? is it my BT plug ins? is it my isps? is it the games it self? or a something else?
