Very High Memory Usage on Win10

I recently noticed that something has been eating up a lot of RAM, even when my PC is idle. My memory usage would occasionally hit between 60% and 70% whilst idle, 80% if I was using Chrome. I know Chrome hogs RAM, but this was never usually a problem until recently.

I tried to find out what was actually using all my memory by checking Task Manager and I couldn't find anything. Here are my processes at the time of me writing this:

Chrome is taking up 300MB~, whereas the next process down the list taking up about 100MB~. When I saw this, I was very confused, so I decided to check the resource monitor. This is what I saw:

Sorting all the processes by Private, I still couldn't find what was actually taking up so much memory. But the resource monitor still claims that 5.6GB of my memory is 'In Use'. This isn't that much of a problem when I'm browsing the internet, but whenever I try to launch a game that needs a lot of memory, the game ends up stuttering loads.

Since the price of RAM has been steadily increasing in the UK over the last year, I'm not too keen on buying more RAM, but if there's no solution to this problem, then I guess I'll do it eventually.

Solution
That is very extensive usage. Shut all programs, disable all Startup items and see what happens than. Could be some malware or memory leak.
