Question Very high ping when using Oculus Quest natively ?

Every game I play I get ping anywhere between 200-500. I'm connected to the right internet and everything. I have Telus Fibre so I have pretty good internet. I don't have a router in my room so maybe getting one might help?

Have you tried taking your phone + the headset over to a friend's or neighbors house with a different ISP, to rule out your ISP being the root cause of the high pings. As for the router, if your ISP is bad, introducing a router won't help since the root cause is the source of your internet(i.e, your ISP). You're not on your phones data plan, correct?

I am not on the phones data plan. I tried playing some games on PC through link and I was sitting around 30-60 ping (with ethernet) so perfectly fine on PC.
