Hello guys, I recently built a new pc and it ran perfect for the first few days.. however while i was moving it to a new location, I set it down a little harder than expected- Basically freefalling from 1/4 inch height; so not very high. However, whenever I run simple programs, i'll have a huge lag spike, my cpu usuage will spike 80% or higher, and the everything will flutter (lag). The audio will begin to crackle and lag as well if im playing any music. Games are unplayable now; I was getting between 100+fps on my games, it now it's at 30fps or lower.

Does anyone have any idea what may be damaged?
These are the parts for my pc:
Motherboard: MSI z170 m5
CPU: Intel 6th Gen i3-6100
GPU: Asus gtx950 2gb
Hardrive: Western Digital SATA 6.0gbs/s 7200 RPM 500GB
RAM: (2) 4GB

Solution
Make sure all your cables are securely plugged in and the CPU cooler is firmly attached. If you have an HDD, it could be damaged. You can check the health status in the Bios or by using the HDD manufacturer's software. Run chkdsk /f from an elevated command prompt. You can also try reseating the RAM and CPU.
