I really doubt you can fit in $300. This comes close, though:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: Intel Pentium G550 2.6GHz Dual-Core Processor ($53.21 @ eCost)
Motherboard: ASRock H61M-DGS Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($44.99 @ Amazon)
Memory: G.Skill NS 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3-1333 Memory ($19.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Seagate Momentus 7200.4 500GB 2.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($49.99 @ NCIX US)
Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon HD 7750 1GB Video Card ($104.98 @ Amazon)
Case: Rosewill R218-P-BK ATX Mid Tower Case ($24.99 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: Antec 450W ATX12V Power Supply ($34.98 @ Amazon)
Total: $333.13
(Prices include shipping and discounts when available.)

Note: this doesn't have OS included. If you can reuse anything from your old PC, that would bring the costs down.

Yeah its a tough budget I know :/
Thanks a lot btw, this seems like it could work :]
I'm still kinda new to all this but would you be able to tell me about how well this could run WOW? I raid in a 25m guild so I can't be lagging out all the time but i don't mind running on low-ish graphics >.<
Thanks ! xD

Also I found someone selling a used custom build for a reasonable price and I'd like to make an offer but like I said I am still pretty new to this stuff and I wouldn't want to be getting ripped off haha

Mother board: Asus P5Q-Pro, I believe it has crossfire support but not SLI
Graphics Processing Type: Dedicated Graphics
Processor Type: Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory: 6 GB
Brand: Custom, Whitebox
Hard Drive Capacity: 160
Operating System Edition: Ubuntu
Processor Speed: 3.00 GHz
-Intel e8400 Dual Core processor
-6 gigs of RAM
-8800GS NVIDIA Graphics Card
-160gig Hard Drive.

Also this is a bundle with a nice monitor and speakers aswell.. opinions? :) Thanks again !

Well, it's significantly worse than the one I recommended. And no, the one I recommended will not lag on "good" settings preset.

It really depends on the monitor, you can get a decent one for $100. You'd need a new OS for that PC as well, since WoW does not work on Ubuntu.

If you're paying more than $300 for it, I'd say it's not worth it. Unless, of course, you cannot stretch your budget for a monitor as well.

Though, I really doubt that used computer comes with a good monitor. Lastly, 160 gig hard drive means you'll have a hard time doing anything else than playing WoW on it.

Okay. Hmm..Well the monitor is a ASUS MS246H so as far as I know that is pretty decent, it also includes Logitech X-540 5.1. As for the OS that shouldn't be an issue for either options. I wish I didn't have to nickel and dime so much but it is what it is haha as for the hard drive how much would it be to get a decent one in there?
