Question Very Low FPS even on low settings with 2060

Hello,
I am new to the forums so if I have posted this in the wrong section I apologize. I have been having problems with very low frames while playing most games. I have updated all of the drivers and I am unsure how to even look for a fix.
I did a userbenchmark that I will link at the bottom. I am getting about 50-55 FPS while playing warzone and other COD games. I pretty much average that across most games. Checked a bottleneck calculator and that said I shouldn't have one. Userbench mark shows I have a problem with my GPU, but want to see if there is any options to improve things before I start shopping around for graphics cards. Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks.

Too high background use. Restart PC and wait a minute or so. Close any overlay that may be running. Rerun the test.
Thank you for the response, I did that, ended everything I could in task manager. Still had high background cppu usage. Also checked for malware and that scan came up empty. Posted another benchmark. Anything else I can run to try and minimize these background tasks?

Thanks.

Backgound CPU usage is terrible, there must be something going on there, I don't know, perhaps Windows doing updates ?

Did the RTX 2060 came with the PC, or was this added to the system ?

Any chance you can see the PSU label and share a picture here using imgur ? (this has nothing to do with the High CPU usage)

PD: be sure to clear the WDC PC SN520 SDAPNUW-256G-1006 256GB theres only 3GB left, for any SSD you want at least 10% of the full capacity as free space.

Try re-runing userbenchmark after you clear the drive!!!

I can't get a photo of the label, unfortunately. I know it is a Corsair CX750M. Reran the benchmark and didn't really get any different results. Sorry, I can't get you much more information. Deep diving into computers is not a specialty of mine.

Its ok. I wonder what is wrong with that SSD.

I do not know if its a coincidence, but now the background CPU is down to 32% after clearing the 256GB SSD?

Another questions:

  • How old is the PC?
  • How long have you been having this issues with the GPU?
  • Did the issues started with Windows 11 upgrade?

PC is around two years old.
The GPU issues started quite a while back, but due to life issues I haven't been able to play games all that often so It was never really a main priority.
No issues when I updated to windows 11.

I am going to completely clear the WD256GB SSD of everything I don't need. But that will take some time. When I finish that I'll benchmark again and update this thread, most likely next week. Thank you for your help so far.

I think you can let the 256 GB drive as it is, for now. I mean clearing more space will be great, ~20% of free space should be more than enough.
But I don't think that will help with your GPU issue. Still, will be nice to know why the drive can't complete the benchmark.

You know what, clear the drive a little more when you can and check again, also donwload CrystalDiskInfo and check the drive Health (I usually use this portable option, but you can use any download you may pref fer: https://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/crystaldiskinfo_portable)

So just to be clear, Did you played any games after upgrading to Windows 11 to know if the performance was ok after the update?
