Question Very low FPS for the setup I am running.

Hi All,

I am having some problems with my PC setup. I am running
CPU - intel iCore i5 8600K (turbo mode)
GPU - nVidia GEForce 2070 RTX
RAM - crucial DDR4 2133 MHz 1x16gb

I was hoping to run Games like Total War warhammer 2 at 1080p with 100+ fps but I can barely squeeze out stable 60 fps, and there are FPS stutters clearly visible on the video below:

Please help me figure out what I am doing wrong. I am sure my setup should be much better but somehow everygame I run I am totally dissapointed with.

Please let me know if there is any more information that I could provide. I am happy to record more videos, because this issue is extremely frustrating for me, especially since I have spent so much money on it.

I will be eternally gratefull if you help me solve this one.

Corsair 750 Watt CXM Hybrid Modular ATX - I have just ordered https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01GCWQ8VO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I am hoping this should show some improvements I will feedback as soon as it install tomorrow. I know it's not in compatibility range but my MOBO can do XMP profiles so I think this should make it work. At least I have seen people on youtube running with 3200 MHZ.

Is it actually possible that ram would bottle neck the whole PC so much?

The only thing that really could be an issue is that you're using single channel memory. I guess if you had a kit of 2 x 8Gb sticks (maybe rated for higher speeds - say 2800) thing would go much better.

Make sure you have drivers updated.
