So, last year I invested a lot of money in a brand new GTX 1080ti, hoping it would run future games like a breeze. However, when I got myself Battlefield V I got myself a massive disappointment. My FPS is low, VERY low. I'm playing on 1080p with all settings on low and still only average around 80 FPS in every map. I ran some benchmarking test in Afterburner to test my theori and here's the results:

On the map called Narvik:

Average framerate : 80.8 FPS
Minimum framerate : 43.9 FPS
Maximum framerate : 197.4 FPS
1% low framerate : 36.5 FPS
0.1% low framerate : 17.3 FPS

On the map called Fjell:

Average framerate : 90.7 FPS
Minimum framerate : 41.8 FPS
Maximum framerate : 200.5 FPS
1% low framerate : 40.2 FPS
0.1% low framerate : 22.4 FPS

On the map called Twisted Steel:

Average framerate : 79.3 FPS
Minimum framerate : 32.5 FPS
Maximum framerate : 163.6 FPS
1% low framerate : 33.8 FPS
0.1% low framerate : 16.4 FPS

Besides having a 1080ti as my GFXcard the rest of the lineup in the computer is as follows:

(Using Speccy)

Operating System
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
CPU
Intel Core i5 4690K @ 3.50GHz 49 °C
Haswell 22nm Technology
RAM
16,0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 1201MHz (11-13-14-32)
Motherboard
ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. Z97-A (SOCKET 1150) 28 °C
Graphics
VG248 (1920x1080@144Hz)
3071MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti (ZOTAC International) 43 °C
Storage
238GB Crucial_ CT256MX100SSD1 SCSI Disk Device (SATA (SSD))

Does anyone got a clue why my frames are so low? It's coming to the point where it's ruining my game experince since im used to clean 144FPS gaming.

"Battlefield 1 was one of the first games to really kill the quad-core CPU, 64-player multiplayer Battlefield 1 to be precise. As expected Battlefield V is no easier on quad-cores, we regularly saw my Core i7-8700K test system which features all cores clocked at 5 GHz exceed 70% utilization and at times peak at over 80%, so good luck with four threads."
