Very low resolution and FPS with new components

So whenever I boot my pc I am greeted with a resolution of 800x600 I change this in the settings to 1920x18080 but I get a very low FPS this is just happening now
I have the following components

Gtx 1060 OCV1
Intel i7 processer
H270 prime plus
Corsair 450 W psu

FIX if you get this, I noticed my onboard graphics was being set as the primary, what you have to do is go into bios and change it so pcie is primary
