I have a ryzen 5 2600 overclocked to 4 Ghz but it only has 900-1290 cinebench points, and my pc also shuts down when running cpu intensive programs without thermal throttling

SPECS:
Ryzen 5 2600
Avexir core 2 16gb 3200mhz
Rx 580 4gb (Dvi-d)
Rog b450 - F
Xpg sx8200 pro 512gb
Evga 850gq

Solution
Whenever a system starts to crash while at high stress, with low temps, the power supply is the first place to look. Even though it is 850W, you are overclocking significantly and as PSUs get older, they start losing wattage, sometimes really quickly at one time. If you have a spare PSU at at least 650W, maybe try that. Not sure if 650W will be able to hold a high overclock like that though(especially if used).
