Very low volume after installing new motherboard

i put in a new motherboard and when i went on youtube or in a game the audio was extremely low, ive been messing around with drivers and the realtek hd audio manager and all sorts of things but i havent been able to get the sound i was getting before i changed the motherboard, how can i fix this?

you might be in the wrong speaker mode like headphones when you are outputting to your speakers. make sure you are matching whatever your speaker setup is and make sure they are plugged in correctly. Try with headphones and see how it sounds.

yes ive made sure that nothing is loose or hanging, ive been at this for several weeks now and im on dire straights, audio has slowly been deterierating and i dont know what to do at this point, games are unplayable and youtube is significantly lower
