It just started happening about 3 days ago, after I got back from leaving my computer for a few days. Came back on, did a Windows Update (which I uninstalled, still not working) and then was fine initially.
Shortly thereafter, and persistently, I get stuttering performance every 2-4 seconds, any time I'm using the Internet (gaming, streaming, anything). I can also hear it from my speakers and headphones if music or audio is playing, even Windows alert sounds. Happens even if I play offline.
Now here's the strangest part. If I disable the NIC card I have, everything is normal. Wired is not an option for me.
Is this the NIC card failing? It's about 5 years old. I've tried installing new drivers, restarts, everything - even cleaning the card and it's PCI-E connection, nothing is working.
Please help.
