Very silent fan for LGA 1155 socket

Hello,

I am looking a very silent fan as I have already 3 big fans for my case and 4 for my graphic cards. All those are quite silent but the fan I am using for my CPU is really noisy.

Do you have any feedback regarding the Noctua NH-U9S ? Do you know any other fan that would even be more silent ?

Either the Noctua NH U12S or NH U14S would be quieter.

You mean the U12S is quieter than the U9S and the U14S is quieter than the U12S ?

Yeah, I have a NH U12S in one of my systems and it's Silent, the NH U14S cools even better and is also Silent.

Both the U12S and U14S are extremely quiet.

Using 3 Noctua Coolers now, NH L9x65, NH U12S and NH D15.

Make sure it will fit in your case before buying, cooler height vs case cooler height clearance.

Hopefully you are telling me this... I checked out and I don't want to try 14 I think it will be to tight... I have ordered the 12
