Hi my w10 boot up takes 10 mins which is very slow even though its on a ssd any one can help with this problem ? i tried all the google suggestions of enable fast bootup and disable fast boot up both does not affect the boot up speed i encounted this problem always after a few months into a fresh reformatting when w10 forces me to update all the new updates.
When i do a fresh reformate the boot up is at most 6 to 10 secs

Solution
You should make a new Installer, saves updating windows since they release a new versions every 6 months. Latest came out this week

Download the Windows 10 media creation tool and use it to make a win 10 installer on USB

oldest drivers are from Razer, unlikely to be reason for slow boot off ssd

your installed version of Intel Rapid Storage Tech driver is from 2015, it could be the reason. I don't see it on Asus website. I think you would use the 2nd one here - https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/55005/Intel-Rapid-Storage-Technology-Intel-RST-

It is slow when it is at the asus logo the ring keeps spinning over and over again if i do a fresh reformat it would sping max 3 times

pc specs intel i7- 4770 3.40 ghz 24gb geforce gtx 660 asus h87-pro main board

what installers are you referring to ? are you talking about w10 installers ? i got the latest mother board drivers but i did not mess with the bios as i was advice not to touch it if its working fine

what installers are you referring to ?

I was wondering how old the WIn 10 installer was.

bios as i was advice not to touch it if its working fine

10 minute boot isn't my definition of working fine :)

updating bios could increase boot speed. BUt on a old motherboard it might not be the cause. Especially if its worked fine until now, could be hardware that is to blame.

Asus aren't well known for updating driver software for old boards. I know as I have one. last 4 boards have been Asus, I appear to be stuck... anyway,

can you download an run a program called driverview - all it does is shows what drivers are on the system - http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/driverview.html
when you run it, go into View menu and set it to hide all MIcrosoft drivers, will make list shorter

can you take a screenshot showing all the columns from (and including) Driver name to (and including) Creation Date.
upload to an image sharing website and show link here. I see if I can identify drivers that might be cause.

ok, I thought that could happen.

this is your chipset - https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/75004/intel-h87-chipset.html
all the new IRST drivers are for optane, not old uses.

Version 12 seems to match your chipset but its also for win 8 and may not install on win 10. It is on the same link I gave above, its just the 2nd last driver at bottom of the page., after you click show more.

its also older than what you have

I would try version 14 as its the newest that doesn't mention optane and is for win 10.

What brand is the ssd? maybe there is some software for it.

hmm, just noticed the version number of irst installed was 14. I would have expected the driver date to be newer. Most of the drivers on your PC are for VMware or Kaspersky, neither of which I would think are responsible.

hmmm my ssd is PLEXTOR PX-128M5S (SSD) i did not add any software knowingly unless w10 did it.
as i mentioned if i did fresh format to my ssd the boot up time will be much quicker but it will get slower after like a few months i suspect its w10 updates as after the updates it will start to get slow but have no proof about it but constantly reformating just to get a fast boot time every few months seems not ideal hence i came here to see if anyone could help me solve this problem i have :/

You can run Plextool on ssd - https://www.goplextor.com/Support/Downloads

How much space is free on the ssd?
Do you have a 2nd drive in PC or do you only have the ssd?
I ask as I only use my ssd for windows, everything else lives on the 2tb hdd. So I always have 187gb of free space and it feels almost brand new still
Hi I have 2hdd and my os is run on my ssd which is siting on 15gb free space of 120gb

installed the plextor tool no change in speed could it be my ssd is slowly dying causing the slow start up speed ?

Sorry for slow reply, I been busy this week

can you run any tests using plextool?

have you tried booting off USB with SSD unattached? USB just there to give PC something to boot to. It would tell us if ssd is what is slowing you down.

i gave up n formatted my ssd with the latest installer hopefully it is still as faster in booting after 6 months. as my boot up time will always slow down after around that period
