I noticed some slow windows 10 performance like slow folder content loading(especially icons).
So i did tests unzipping same zip archive.
Unzipping ~500mb .zip which contain ~ 40k files

My PC (windows 10) ~ 13 minutes
Older and weaker PC (windows 7) ~ 5 minutes
My PC (Ubuntu 15.10 booted from USB) ~ 1.30 minutes

Its clear that my PC running windows 10 is extremely slow. Also i have run some hdd tests and its all healthy no bad sectors or anything. Also Device Manager says i have installed all required drivers. Any ideas what's going on here ?

Two pictures i made during windows 10 unzipping

Hello

Many times you may face this after upgrading your earlier Windows to the newer one, Windows 10 in your case.

I would recommend that you try Increasing the Virtual Memory of the computer.

This link may also help.

You may also want to try Restoring Windows 10 to Earlier Time when you believe your PC worked fine.

If the above doesn't work, you may want to Reset Windows 10 to Factory Settings with or without removing your personal files.

If all the above solutions fail to work, doing a clean install would be your last resort as some people have found it helpful.

Good Luck!!
