Slow FF is (was) excused until now because every time I use "Restore previous session" for 4-5 tabs I have and since I have only 2GB of RAM. But lately FF started to "Not Responding" very often.
Also there lost files i.e. files I downloaded are not in place at all (my C drive)! I know it sounds like I'm crazy, but I'm pretty sure. I searched for them with a search program, I also searched the external HD just in case I moved them there but nope!
I did a physical scan with Macrorit on C which found no physical errors and continued with CHKDSK which up to stage 4 didn't find anything. Then the machine rebooted so I don't have information what happened at the end.
I also checked C for malware with ESET online which also finished OK.
One thing I will try is to check external HD with Macrorit for physical bad sectors and with CHKDSK for logical errors...
Any suggestion will be most welcome...
