Very Slow Internet Speeds Lately

Since yesterday, i have been receiving about .5 MBps when i would usually get about 10 MBps, I have Comcast Internet and i am not sure why my internet speed just drastically went very slow and is doing this. I am not good with Networking and Connectivity but i know the basics, if you need more information just ask me i will try to respond ASAP

did you made a dsl test .

DSL test you mean like on Speedtest.net? If so, i have and it was about 2 MB Download but its usually 60 MB and it was 1 MB upload which is usually 10 MB Upload. So idk what is wrong

I trust you rebooted the Comcast router? And have you tested speed with more than one computer? Have you tested with both wired and wireless connections? If you have done all of the above and your speed is still low then it is time to call Comcast.

Yes i did everything you said, so i will just call Comcast even though knowing they're customer support this is what they'll say: "Did you try restarting your modem?" But thanks for helping

Sometimes these slowdowns clear themselves up but if it goes on for more than a day or two I would call, it is quite possible you have a bad modem/router.

ask them to send you a another modem since they are the one who provide it .

Firstly, are you testing over WiFi or ethernet? WiFi is very prone to interference, especially in built up areas.

Have you tested from another device?
