Very slow (www.ad.tomshardware.com)

I'm not sure if it's because I'm located in this location(Quebec, Canada).. When accessing www.tomshardware.com/us and I click on almost any link, I'll get "stuck" loading www.ad.tomshardware.com for sometimes up to 2 minutes before the article/guide/review will appear. It wasn't always like this. It is just in the last month or two.

Something up?

Should add that it does this with firefox, IE7 & IE8. I have winxp installed on one computer and another has Win 7, and it happens on both.

Yes, the whole site is so loaded down with ads and crap that it's much slower than it used to be.

It's also hosted in France whereas it probably used to be in the US, so it's obviously going to be slower for US residents.

I have been experiencing this on the UK site now that they have been "upgraded" I use FF. Always has happened on the US site. but now I can't read the news articles on the UK site without waiting like 5 mins.

Yeah, the same is happening to me on virtually every page.
The top banner gets loaded fine but then it takes 30 seconds to a minute waiting for www.ad.tomshardware.com.

Very annoying.
