Very strange problems...

Hey,
I have a laptop with Windows 10 and I have recently been experiencing weird problems..
The sound, start menu, start bar (the bar at the bottom), windows store apps and 'modern' windows apps (like Edge and Store) suddenly stop working when they feel like it.... This is becoming a little annoying.
The sound can be fixed by enabling and disabling the Conexant SmartAudio 221 speaker from device manager.
Does anyone know of a fix?

not exactly convinced though since powershell didn't find any other problems and I don't feel like reinstalling all the apps or resetting Win 10, I might aswell go back to Win 7 if I have to be bothered that much.

did you try the second link, it just checks to make sure all the apps have no corruption, it should fix them.

You can do this to reset the shop:

1. Press the Win+R keys to open the Run dialog.

2. Type WSReset.exe, and click/tap on OK.

All the fixed I can find for taskbar are the same as the one I linked before.


You can try to roll back to a time before the taskbars played up using system restore

Tried WSReset and it only gave a timeout error message ^~^
