Alright guys I’ve been banging up my head over this problem. So I just built a new PC for my friend but theres a problem with the display/system. It works fine at 60hz but the moment I changed it to 75hz several squiggly horizontal lines appeared. So I thought to myself “let me change the monitor to see if that changes anything” and sure enough that worked.
Therefore the monitor is the problem right?
Nope.
I plugged in the monitor to my PC just to double confirm that the monitor was the problem, lo and behold the monitor works fine with my pc at 75hz.
Er, so the new PC is the problem then?
Nope, as mentioned before MY monitor works fine with the PC.Both components works with different ones but doesn’t work well together.
But even if thats the case, why does everything work well at 60hz but not at 75hz? Forgot to mentioned, i swapped both cables and everything is still the same.

PC
CPU: Ryzen 3 3100
MOBO:MSI B450m-A Pro MAX
RAM : Gskill 8GBx2 3600mhz
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1650 Super
PSU :1st Player DK 500watt 80++ bronze
