Hi,

I have had a Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 850 for a few years without any problems, but suddenly today some keys stopped responding.

The keys are both CTRL, WINDOWS KEY, both ALT and TAB.

I tried every solution suggested online, including uninstalling and updating drivers, restore to a previous restore point, connecting the keyboard to a different USB port, restarting the pc, and nothing worked.

I then tried the keyboard on a laptop i have at home and the problem persisted.

My obvious conclusion was that the keyboard went bad so i switched to a new HP Pavilion 800 keyboard (wired USB) i had at home and connected it to my PC but I was a very surprised to see that the problem wasn't solved. Almost the same keys won't work (TAB started working but the others still didn't). To make things more complicated - the HP keyboard works on the laptop without any problems.

So to sum it up:
The old Microsoft keyboard has key problems on both the pc and laptop and the new HP keyboard has problems only on the pc. All i know now is that i ruled out a keyboard malfunction (the second keyboard is brand new), but other than that i have no idea what's going on.

I will be happy to hear any ideas.

My PC:
Mobo: B650 Aorus Elite AX V2
CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
GPU: Radeon RX 7800 XT
RAM: Kingston DDR5 32GB

Thanks in advance
