Will the Vetroo V3 help the i7-7700 go to its boost clock which is 4.2 ghz or will it stay cap at its freq?

That cooler is advertised to cool a 125TDP processor, and in my opinion looks like a rebranded Be Quiet! Pure Rock Slim(the first iteration) cooler and in black. You should be good to go.

tbh I would honestly went for that but the motherboard im going with doesnt have the 5v 3pin header so if I'm paying for rgb and I cant have it on I might as well go for the one that doesnt need the 5v 3pin header
