Approximate Purchase Date: The closer the better

Budget Range: Around £1500-1600, would want to spend as little as possible since I'm just starting University, leaving room for improvements in the future

System Usage from Most to Least Important: 3D modeling, texturing, rendering/Video editing/Occasional gaming

Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Do you need to buy OS: No

Location: London, United Kingdom

Parts Preferences: I've been out of the market so I'm not sure if AMD is seriously the best way nowadays

Overclocking: If needed, but would prefer not to

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe in the future?

Your Monitor Resolution: Preferably 2k since I wouldn't want to stick to FullHD

Additional Comments:
I know the budget seems tight, hope there's a way to build something good for this kind of work without having to spend thousands to start with. Thank you in advance for your help!

Do you know the software you'll use can take advantage of a multi graphics card set up? Would just mention it's not really worthwhile for games.
Thanks for the quick reply! To be honest I'm not really sure of that. I started using Blender but could shift to Maya in the near future. Will probably use Houdini and the Adobe suite. I was thinking of raw power for this kind of work, I've seen the threadripper being suggested a lot

I like the look of helper800's last build. Shame there's a slight budget constraint as the 3900X would be ideal even for traditionally Intel leaning creation softwares like Adobe.

Blender can make use of multiple graphics cards for rendering purposes for future reference.

Thanks a lot guys! I really like that build, I'm thinking of waiting a little longer just to buy the 3900X if it really makes the difference.
