VG248QE not showing 144Hz?

Hey guys, just built my new rig today.

Its running a dedicated GTX 780 and an ASUS VG248QE display.
I checked the display options but it seems the highest freq. output is sitting at 60hz. Have I missed something? I've updated all the drivers and the display is linked to the graphics card with a HDMI cable (will be swapping to displayport V1.2 tomorrow).

Any ideas how to solve this? Cheers

HDMI doesn't do 144Hz, and I'm also pretty sure DP doesn't either, whenever people have problems saying they cant get to 144Hz on those monitors its usually because they are using DP rather than Dual Link DVI.

Check if the resolution is set as a PC Display instead of Television in Nvidia Control Panel, then change the refresh rate there.

DP does support 144hz@1080p and 1440p refresh rates. HDMI supports 120hz @ 1080p.

Switched to DP v1.2, supports with no strain, easy fix!
