hello...
I needed additional length connecting my pc to my monitor...the existing cable was a 6' length. I ordered a 10' length; & when I hooked it up, my screen resolution was very large. I attempted to set it to the recommended 1920 X 1080...but it wasn't available...the largest available was 1600 X 900. I looked at the two cables; & the only difference was...the original was blue; & the new, longer cable was black (not just cable color, but inside the connector sockets.
How did I goof...???...I thought all VGA connectors were the same...
