I have a Dell monitor with a native res of 1366x768 @60Hz. I want to overclock my monitor but, I am worried about the VGA cable not being able to go over 60Hz. So please tell me what is the max refresh rate the VGA cable can output @1366x768.
Thanks in advance.

Hi

Why do you want to use a higher refresh rate for the monitor?

If default is 60 check Dell documentation to see whst higher resolutions are supported
Probably not more than 75

I would not worry about vga cable at these low resolutions 1366x768

Obviously the quality of the cable used and its length affect the quality of the display

I tried to google it for you, but I didn't find anything on the web. VGA is able to do 60Hz @1080p, so it should be able to give a higher refresh rate @768p, right?

Limiting factor there is monitor not cable. What is your monitor model?
