VGA Compatibility with Processor

Hello,

I have a MB Intel DP67GB and intel i7 2600 (yea old), and i want to upgrade my current graphics hardware i want to see what is the compatible Hardware with the CPU.

My current Graphics hardware is 550 TI.

If i get the 1060 or anything of the new series are they compatible? (i'm not looking to upgrade my CPU or MB)

but no, i7 2600 will not bottleneck 1060 at all, not even the 6GB one so go for it

Yepp i meant bottleneck sorry. i'm just concerned if performance issues will entail.
