vga cord from my monitor was cut....HELP

i suppose if you have the proper wireing code and tools to make a new connection... lol how did it get CUT lmfao

you can use this as a good excuse to buy something better

It can be, but the splices may cause interference and loss of display quality.

Basically its like any other cord - it just has a dozen or so wires inside it. You have to splice each wire together making sure you have them in the right order. Because of the warning above, its usually better to just find some cash and get a new one.

If you were an authorised service agent you could probably buy one from the manufacturer. If the monitor is a few years old, you can grab an identical cable from a dead one and attach it internally.
