[SOLVED] VGA Monitor as second monitor on Win-10 laptop with HDMI port

Connecting a VGA monitor with a HDMI-to-VGA cable to the HDMI port of a Windows 10 laptop does not seem to work. Anybody help?

HDMI doesn't have any analog signal in it, only digital. And since VGA uses solely analog signal to work, HDMI to VGA adapters don't work on their own.

They do work, however, only when HDMI output chipset has analog signal in it. E.g like the HDMI port on Raspberry Pi 3 B+.

Without analog signal in the HDMI, you need HDMI to VGA converter,
