Hello

i'm using a 27" monitor with my W7 x64 with Intel HD VGA.

I can only set 1024x768 on my external monitor, while i can increase it in the embedded screen. Why?
1060246

whit other more little monitor i have no problem and i can go until 1680x1024. Maybe this is too new? can i change any setting?

If you have a newer 27" monitor you should have at least one other option than VGA. Try to avoid using VGA if at all possible. Literally anything else is better. With that said the issue appears to be a communication problem between your PC and the monitor. Your computer isnt detecting that the monitor can handle a higher resolution. This may be one of those rare instances where you need to install a monitor specific display driver for it to work properly. Give the model number a Google and see if there is something out there for it.
