Question Vga no red in the monitor

So i have a monitor that is connected via Vga and one day it just lost all red even if i change the settings nothing works
and the strangest thing that if i open the monitor options, the monitor menu is all fine while the windows is without red

Wiggle the cable around on both ends, or replace it if necessary.

Ok so i wiggled one to the right and it was fixed but if i let go it would turn weird again
I replaced the cable with another and it still without red
I again with the new one wiggled it to tge right and it would fix again
