I have an Asus GTX 650ti, and an Asus Maximus VI Hero motherboard.
When i turn on the computer the cpu fan works, the interior fan works, the hardrive spins, the sound card light is on, the start/reset/temp monitor lights up, and the graphics card lights up.
However, I just can't get the monitor to work. Every time i turn on the PC it says "VGA NO SIGNAL", The monitor has an HDMI cable that plugs into my graphics card, which has an HDMI to VGA converter. Graphics card itself only has VGA and DVI-D port.

I attempted to plug the monitor straight into the motherboard, but my mother board does not have an HDMI or an VGA port. (??? is this supposed to be like that)

I plugged the monitor into my laptop, and it works great.
What could be going wrong?

ok, resetting cmos to clear bios if the motherboard is not agreeing with the memory initially will help.

Normally just using the reset button would do the trick, but i think there's something else going on here, will get to that.

Last try to get your ram working (if it is the issue) to power down
Put the memory in the red slots
Remove the cmos battery (round watch sized battery), is near the cpu socket.
While the cmos battery is out, hold the bios reset button for 30seconds - system is still turned off, dont turn it on.
After 30seconds, place the battery back and turn the pc on.

This will reset cmos if there were any incompatibilities made while factory testing when the motherboard was made and accept the memory you have now.

If the motherboard is still having problems, check the cpu and make sure you've closed the leaver, locking the cpu in place to make proper contact.

did all of the above, DRAM led still on.
Rechecked cpu, then i noticed that one tiny pin one bent weird...
It's curved in the wrong direction
I tried to bend it back with a pencil but no good it only moved a little bit
i'm scared of breaking it... maybe i should RMA?

It is possible to straighten the pin, there are videos and advice on the net on how to do so safely.

Rma would be the safest option, but upto you. Could give it a try, the pin wont snap unless its been continuously bent back and forth to create stress fracture. More the risk of bending other surrounding pins.

That bent pin is most likely the cause of your problems.
