VGA on PC to HDMI or VGA on TV

Hi everyone, just a quick question, and i'm sorry if it was answered before, but I just wanted to know if I should buy a VGA to HDMI cable to connect my PC to an HDTV I bought. My PC has the VGA connector only, but my TV has both. Any advice is greatly appreciated

you can connect the VGA to the TV directly. cheapest solution.

for VGA to HDMI you want an active converter not the cheap ones in order to get a nice resolution without changing settings all the time.
