Question VGA port not working!!!!!

Hi, I have an Asus GTX 550 Ti 1Gb 192bit, but for some reason the vga port doesn't work while the HDMI port works and when the vga port is plugged into a monitor besides the HDMI, the vga monitor is showing in windows but no output from it. What's the problem with it?

It's probably just the multiple monitor setting in Windows that needs to be adjusted - select your secondary monitor and select "extend desktop to this" (or in similar terms).

You can't really use both the motherboard port and the GPU port together.
What other ports does the GPU have? Maybe you could get an adapter.

Ok, question back first : Is this something that you know have worked in the past, or never tested before? never mind (the link below explain why)
