VGA to Composite?

Hello there.

I have a VGA to Composite cable going from my computer and into my TV. (It also has an S-Video side to it so if that would work, Please tell me so i can buy an s-video extender ). OK so when i connect them up i get a horrible black and white, Static layering type picture. My simple question is, Is there a way to get a clear, perfect picture??

Do you mean component Cable. Need more info about your TV and computer.

Composite is the HD cable (3 plugs for up to 1080i), and component is the old 3 plug RCA variety (480i). Which are you referring too?

Wrong. Other way around. Composite is the single yellow SD cable, Component is the 3 plug (Red, Blue, Green) that operated at 1080i.

S-Video is the same as the Yellow composite, just a different plug. Both are the same type of video, resolution, etc.

As for VGA to Composite:

CAUTION: Only works with VGA cards that have TV-Out functionality through the VGA connector. Check your Video Card manual to make sure that your VGA card has TV-Out capability.

Does your Card have that capability?

THe product that was in the link is the one i have. Now i tried the composite end and like i said i got a horrible black and white static image (you can see the screen but it is constantly moving in a static-type motion and divided into 8 pieces). I have ordered an S-Video Male To Male connecter so i can try s-video
