hello
i have a LG 25MP76 monitor having 1x VGA and 2x HDMI but it doesn't have any DVI port and i've ordered an Asus Strix GTX 1070 which have 1X DVI, 2X Display ports, 2x HDMI. I am worried about cable to buy or are there any adapters to convert VGA to DVI or Vga to Display port something like that ??

Input lag? No, nothing to be noticed. I use a GTX 1060 with HDMI and have no problem whatsoever.
HDMI is optimal for 1080p monitors,
Display port is recommended for 1600p or above, as your monitor is just 1080p, it's perfectly fine.

I wouldn't use DVI tho, you'll have to get yourself a sound cable too, because DVI can't transfer sound data, which HDMI can.

Everything'll be perfect, dont worry.
You can use both HDMI from your monitor and the GPU, why ignore them?

That monitor, i believe, isn't 144Hz so there's no real reason to worry about the Display Ports. Stick with HDMI and everything's fine!

If you ever change to a 144Hz monitor, it'll have DP inputs, so either way, no problems for you!

And, VGA is an analogic image, DP/HDMI are digital, so the conversion between them isn't good.
