[SOLVED] VGA to DVI or HDMI

I am connecting my monitor to a GTX 1050 TI and I was wondering if out of a VGA to DVI cable or a HDMI cable one is better. Thank you.

The HDMI cable will be best.
You meant to say DVI to VGA since the GTX 1050 Ti does not have VGA adapter.
Does your monitor only has a VGA connection?
It will be more helpful if you provide your monitor and GPU make and models.

If you are connecting to a VGA monitor, you will need an active converter. So be sure the cable incorporates one. Or get a stand alone D/A (active) converter. It doesn't matter whether you go HDMI or DVI. HDMI is simpler; no screws.
