VGA vs HDMI

Which is better cuz I bought this dell s2240l and now connected with vga but man the quality is so bad and I read that vga is able to display 800p but when you scale it to 1080p then pixels begins to get blurry and loses sharpness and quality.

Will hdmi make it look beautiful again as thankfully the monitor has the hdmi port too

Also does the quality of hdmi cable effects quality cuz Linux on YouTube says hdmi is digital signal so get yourself the cheapest hdmi cables as video quality ain't effected by hdmi quality but vga is analog signal so you need to have the best quality vga cable for better video quality.

I don't get it why on amazon people are so stupid to buy so expensive hdmi cable totally stupid people

Yeah grab an HDMI cable and it should fix it.

upscaling image on display will ALWAYS cause blurriness. VGA is capable of far higher than 800P, 2048x1536 @85Hz or so.
if the display is capable of 1080P, you should use that resolution (on the computer) to begin with.
