Is the AGP VxD driver in the 4 in 1's the same as the AGP VGart file? I ask because I have a VGart file that is 16MB in size and the 4 in 1's are not even close to that size. IF so I assume I need to install thes VGart as well?

Thanks

Crap, all the good ones are already taken.

Ok so this is either a really stupid question, or I am not the only one that doesn't know this????

The VIA GART driver is called VIAGART.VXD.

Looking through some of my old video drivers, VGARTD.VXD would be the GART driver included with nVidia drivers. Is this the file that you are talking about?

They are not the same thing as far as I can remember (where U are getting the Vgart from...)

Install the bigger one followed by the smaller one the 4in1 is prob an update for the AGP Vgart rather than a replacement (ie a tweak)

Hmmm, wonder if I can get a valid page fault ???
these invalid ones are far too commonplace...

Thank you. I am downloading it from Asus website. They have the 4 in 1's and also have the vgart file. The vgart is like 50mb so I figured I needed it. But when I run the install it installs via 4.42 files. Oh Well guess it is just a file that we can use if we need to. maybe certin cards need it. It doesn't seem to ahve done anythig for my V9280TD (GF4 4200)

Thanks for the help.
