via audio driver problem

hi i just installed windows 8 and upgrading it to windows 8.1 but i got a problem with my audio i downloaded some driver from the via website but there is a problem with the audio when i play and music the media player says that a device has been disconnected what should i do ? but first i wanna make sure i have the right drivers installed my mother board MSI 880GM-E41 a download link would be much appreciated !
