My usb ports are not recognized, not able to use scanner, etc. Win Me, PentIII 600, any suggestions ?? Thanks

Make sure your Usb ports are enabled in bios

Via Board PA61, PentIII600, Win Me, bios enabled OK,in system devices, Viatech 3038pci USB host controller splotched out,(NTKERN.vdx device loader for this device could not load the dev. driver (code2). Thanks

Remove the device in safe mode then let windose refind it and re=install the drivers for it.

Have removed , it is found, but still splotched out.Possible bad motherboard ???

Hmm have you tried to re-enable the device in windows? Also try the same thing again this time after you reboot go inot windows and enable the reset configuration data, you may be expeirancing an IRQ conflict. Do you have assign irq to usb enabled as well?

also try installing the via vers 4.28 4 n one driver
