There shouldn't be any USB drivers for win 11. Windows should look after it all.
What drivers did you reinstall? It should be the chipset drivers if anything at all.
I don't see any mention of VIA on here

AMD® X470 Chipset
  • 1 x USB 3.1 Gen2 (SuperSpeed USB 10Gbps) Type-C port on the back panel
  • 1 x USB 3.1 Gen2 (SuperSpeed USB 10Gbps) Type-A port on the back panel
  • 4 x USB 3.1 Gen1 (SuperSpeed USB) ports available through the internal USB 3.1 Gen1 connectors
  • 6 x USB 2.0 (High-speed USB) ports (2 Type-A ports on the back panel, 4 ports available through the internal USB 2.0 connectors)
AMD® CPU
  • 4 x USB 3.1 Gen1 (SuperSpeed USB) Type-A ports on the back panel
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/X470-GAMING-PRO-CARBON/Specification

Even looking at windows 7 area, the only drivers are AMD USB drivers. No VIA?

i found the win 8 drivers VIA_XHCI_Driver_V4.00B_WithAp.exe

sofar the issue seams to have fixed at least i think they were win 8
yeah, those are win 8. According to search results anyway, could be relabelled win 7 drivers too.

hard to tell if they for your board though as MSI don't list win 8 on the board drivers list.
VIA no longer make it - https://www.via-labs.com/product_show.php?id=51

I can't find any links to Via and that motherboard. It is very strange but if it fixed it, shrug?
Win 8.1 has USB 3 built in, same as 10 did, but I do recall needing Via drivers on some boards.

I have to go into device manager after every reboot and manual search the drivers from the let me pick off a list,
the product is a SIIG Legacy and Beyond Series PCIe to USB 3.0 7-Port PCI Express Card I got off of Amazon that

my question is why make a product just to not support it after a month
any recommendations on a replacement 7 port USB card for PCIE?

well, that explains where Via comes in

Chipset: VIA VL805 + VL813
https://www.siig.com/usb-3-0-7-port-ext-pcie-host-adapter.html

if you had mentioned that a few posts ago I would have realized.

its always possible they aren't aware device doesn't work with win 11.

there is one made by cruxtec but it uses the same two chips.
I could almost bet you the 7 port PCI card by Startech also uses same 2 chips.
i can't tell with this one but probably the same chips - http://my.orico.cc/goods.php?id=6585

why do you need 7? can't you use a USB hub?

I just prefer internal to external hardware whenever possible
I already have enough cables to manage and don't want to chance overloading a circuit breaker

looks like Oricho diver page just redirects to the front page and the email them form has a JavaScript error
can't even bother to hire a competent webmaster...
