Building a budget gaming computer to use with a cheap ultrawide monitor (https://www.amazon.com/LG-29UM68-P-29-Inch-21-UltraWide/dp/B01B9IDLAW or similar (I know I would not be making use of the freesync)).

Games = Witcher 3, Fortnite, WoW
Thanks for the help!

I would not waste an M.2 slot on a SATA only speed drive...; even in M.2 form factor, it is only a SATA spec drive. (Did you intend to purchase an M.2/ NVME drive?)

Get a conventional 2.5" drive (Corsair MX500, Samsung 860 EVO), save the M.2 slot for an NVME drive that is 4-5 times faster later....; or else get an NVME drive...(Samsung 970 EVO)
