Vibrating

I recently installed a FOP32-1 onto my new AMD T-Bird 1.2 and A7V133 motherboard. The fan works great; the artic silver is great, It is installed the right way, And it really drops the temp of my CPU to a nice and cool 34C at idle! Very happy!

BUT...

The thing is vibrating like crazy on the motherboard. While it is running I put my finger near the top of the board and the noise stops but comes back when I let go. Is this normal for this HSF? and if not is there any way I can stop the vibration since it is so loud? I tried tightening (and loosening) the screws that hold the motherboard and it has no effect. Is there something I could put under the board to stablize it? But won't hurt the board or CPU?

Any advice would be appreciated!

Sounds like the fan is out of balance or bent shaft. I wouldn't want it vibrating down on top on my cpu. You could try placing thin rubber square on corners between fan and sink to help insulate vibration from heatsink and chip. probably be better to return it or get a new fan.
