Vicarious announced that its social VR content sharing platform is now available on Google Daydream. The company has plans to launch Vicarious apps for other VR platforms “in the coming weeks and months.”

I guess I'm biased, but I think a social networking platform without a web portal doesn't seem very promising.

I guess they're probably just trying to build technology that someone like FB, Google, or MS would want enough to buy them for it. As such, the app only really needs to serve as a demo platform for that.
