Video and Sound Playback Error

Hi all,

For a while now i have been experiencing issues across all browsers where no video on youtube or facebook or any where will play. They will begin and if i am lucky continue for a few seconds and then stop and reload itself. This problem has now escalated to sound cutting in and out when i am playing a game, for example. I am also having issues with software like Spotify, where an error will come up saying the song is not available to be played after playing for a few seconds.

I have checked and tried everything. All of my drivers are up to date, i have troubleshooted everything i possibly can, and i have run virus scans over and over. I am really unsure of what to do. Could it potentially be a hardware issue? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I appreciate the reply however this is not the issue. Its not that i cant play certain formats of videos. The issue is that when i try to watch a video online on my computer on any site, on any browser my computer will play a few seconds and then stop and reload the video and sometimes not even reload.
