Video App not detecting my videos

The Windows 8.1 Video app is not detecting my videos for some reason. I have already pointed it to the folders where my videos are and so far it has only detected a single video(I have tons of them).

What's happening?

What about the file format? Try installing a codec pack like k-lite

Most of them are either .mp4(majority) or .mkv

I'll try to install the k-lite codec pack and see what happens, thank you!
