My audio desyncs with my video on any game that uses directx 10 or better, and the directx 9 games are about 50/50 but i found when i reinstall my Realtek audio drivers, i uninstall the original then install the new driver, but if i choose not to reboot after the drivers have been reinstalled i have perfect audio and video sync and everything is fine. However if i reboot, power down, or even log off. then everything returns to that original desynced state.

Win 10
BIOS: 0515 (type: UEFI)
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1600X Six-Core Processor 3.9ghz
Memory: 16gb ddr4
Video: GTX 1070 8gigs ram
PSU: 750w
Motherboard: ASUS Prime X370-Pro AM4 AMD X370

Vlc And other video watching programs are fine.
And its only cut scenes, gameplay is fine
Also reinstalled DirectX, didn't help.

Hello danthorpe2

After you uninstalled the drivers, can you please tell which new drivers did you install? I mean, did you obtain them from the vendor's official website? And, did you try to update your graphics driver as well?

Also, once you installed the new drivers, before rebooting your computer, can you please try disabling automatic driver updates and see if the issue fixes?

Cheers!!
